ABOUT US

We are located in Berrien County in southwestern Michigan just about 2 hours from Chicago, 3 hours from Detroit and 2 hours from Lansing.  We reside on 10 acres in the country have had Cavaliers for almost 4 years now and have been actively showing for 3 years.  Marv and I both show the Cavaliers and he also shows Rottweilers.   Marv does custom ceramic tile work for private homes and businesses and I worked at the local library for 11 years before being laid off recently.

We enjoy attending dog shows both here and in Canada.  Four of our dogs have their Canadian Championships and the 5th is just a few points away from finishing.  Our stud dog DJ (Hillwood Diamond Jim) has both his AKC and Canadian championships.

We had our first two litters this year and have loved the experience of raising the puppies. All of our dogs live in the house with us, with the puppies spending their first month in our bedroom where we could monitor them closely.  There is a large fenced yard so the dogs get plenty of exercise.  One of the benefits of a large old farmhouse is you can have the dogs with you all the time and not worry about the floors and such.  This way we’re able to give them lots of time and attention, assuring a well-rounded puppyhood.
